Day 1: 1st April 2005

Arrive in York. Desinger outlet. Lots of shopping. Topped up carbs level with yummy jacket potatoes. Returned to Scarborough and looked around town for a bit just before shops closed.

Travelled to Whitby an hour away and had fish and chips at The Magpie. Hahah saw a peasant crossing the road on the way there, they run so funny, with moving legs and totally still bodies.  After queuing for an hour, we finally got a table. The massive cheese covered scallops, seafood hotpots(with v. fresh prawns), 4 fish (and chips) speciality, and deluxe lobster, crab and salmon salad made it all worth the while. The caramalised rice pudding with fruit compote and lemon creme brulee finished off an ultra yummy meal.

Driving back to Scarborough was ultra scary, with totally pitch dark, tiny country lanes. Finished off a fabolous first day by going to Scarborough beach front and playing on all the 2p machines in the arcades.  Stayed until they are closed and literally had to chuck us out...teeheee Won loads of those lil motorbike replica models.

Then went for a drive around all the touristy areas for Zen's benefit, first time there and all... Went to Oliver's mount, lots of steamed up cars there ^.~ hehheheh. Then went up to Holbeck Hill to see the beautiful view of Scarbourgh harbour.

thought of today:

MEN SHOULD.....

concentrate more on watching their driving skills on the road,

concentrate less on watching pretty girls on the pavement (and honking and leering at them)

Had a FABOLOUS day today. My sis called me up this morning to suggest a day of fun, laughter and more. We went Busaba to have lunch. Then went for a slice of yummy cake at yauatcha (put a lot of money into mr. alan yau's pocket today~not that he needs any more, lol)

Then off to Selfridges for a walkaround, (nothing interesting in the mens department today!  ) Have got my beady eyes on a dior bracelet, only £100, so I will be dragging mr zen off to buy on a later date.

After a spot of shopping, (including buying and pining Disney cuties badges all over our bags in the middle of oxford street, then getting harrassed by a club promotor on a random bench)we headed off to Harrods for ice cream at Morelli's.

Eating soooo many nice things in one day, and seeing soooo many nice (expensive) things in one day, mmmmm.....pure bliss!

How do u have a 'healthy' relationship? What is too much, what is too less? Where does being caring cross the line into being too suffocating/not wanting to lose the person into stalker-type possessiveness/madly in love into just plain mad?

I'm sitting here thinking about the past week. Its been so fun, and suprisingly I managed to get all my work done at the same time. Being with him feels so natural, that being without seems like I've lost a limb. She said: I know you have found him, you are excited and nervous every time you see him again. He still has my butterflies- like a first date every time after parting. Then we are reunited and it is so comfortable, so settled, each day and each night. There are so many opportunites to stray, but I know that deep down I can't risk losing him. Seeing him at his most vulnerable, I know that I need him as much as he needs me. He doesn't voice it much, but a kiss on the forehead, a touching of noses, a gentle pinch on the cheek, and I know. Maybe actions speak louder than words? Do i see myself with him in another [?] years? I can't imagine any other future, or indeed remember any other past....
